As I have now rehomed my fish and crayfish out of this tank, I have the tank and stand for sale.

The tank is in good nick with no scratches etc. One of the cuboard doors has a scuffed area on the bottom of it but its not too bad, think it is where the previous owner sanded it down a bit as the door was difficult to shut. I have siliconed in a black juwel textured background which looks nice and added a Fluval 105 external filter (includes all media). I will keep the tank running to keep the bacteria in the filter alive so should be good to go when the new owner sets it up. Also included is a Fluval tronic heater which is the best heater around in my opinion (use them in all my tanks). There is also a thick layer of silver tank in the bottom of the tank which the new owner is welcome to have. The original hood and lights are also included. The stand is finished in Beech.

I paid £90 for the tank, £65 for the filter and £25 for the background.

I am asking £70 for the lot. I will put the tank on eBay as well so if you are interested PM me and I will end the auction early.

Many thanks x

Am I asking to much? To get the lot shifted I will take £50 for the lot which I think is more than fair! I really need it to go and after being mucked around by someone on the dreaded bay I am keen to sell it via the forum.

what arfe the first few digits of ya postcode so i can drop it in the satnav to see how far u are from me :good:

From Birmingham it'll take you about 2 hours or so mate - I live pretty close to Sporen and it takes me between an hour and a quarter and an hour and a half to get from where the M6 hits the M1 down to Watford, I'm guessing you're about half an hour from J1 M6 where you are?

Thats taking into account the 50mph limit on a pretty long stretch of the M1 (complete with average speed cameras) which depending on how clever your satnav is it might not take into account - and travelling on a weekday when theres less traffic.

Tring is small enough that if you google anything in Tring it'll get you a postcode thats no more than 5 minutes from where Sporen lives though, so feel free to give that a bash. (And Trings not far from Watford, nice easy drive down the A41 where you can put your foot down a little.)

watch it tehno...no speeding round here...lol

Hehe...I'd never advocate speeding  but driving at 70mph in a 70mph limit will make you a stranger to some of the people who drive down that road.

yea i put it in the route planner and it said about 1 3/4 hours so not worth the trip tbh,

anyway what i do on these long raods with multiple speed limits is add all the sign together and that is how fast i go now , #### it i pay enough money in fuel, tax , insurance mot, services im sure i have given this government enough money to own most of the roads anyway, speed limit should only be observed when police are around or cameras :hey:

You live near the M6 toll, I'm not surprised you occasionally venture past the speed limit! Its not responsible for me to comment on what speed I did round there recently, when the road was empty, dry and visibility good...

Can't get away with it on the M1 roadworks round here though, average speed cameras would have you in no time. It wouldn't surprise me if they actually paid for the work they're doing (and its a hell of a lot of work) with the fines. Although christ knows they need the cameras, some right idiots round here that'd end up taking out half the blokes working there if they didn't put cameras up.

For anyone else interested the postcode for Tring is HP23, tenohfive is quite right, most of the village / town would fit on the back of a postage stamp, lol.

It is near St Albans Jen, you're not going to get something off Scott by any chance?

From Scotts house it'll take about 25 minutes to get to Sporens, less if the traffics light and you aren't shy with the accelerator.
