I've bought both of these for my new set up but am still planning right now. My Fluval Roma comes with the new design cabinet which is this for those who haven't seen it http

I know that the Ex1200 didn't fit in the old design cabinets but I'm hoping it will with the new design (have done measurements but we'll see). Does anyone know for sure?
My other question is, will I have to cut holes in the back of the cabinet for the filer tubes or is there another way?
