Fluval In A Biorb?

I've put a fluval mini in my 30ltr orb, sticks to the side just fine!

Changed the substrate to sand as well....

how did you do that? did you close the bottom so it didnt pump air through it??

yeah, just ripped out the middle thingy, turned it upside down and filled the hole with sealant... the fluval mini sticks fine to the side but it's only good for up to 45 ltrs, so maybe the Fluval 1? not sure, anyhow it suckers fine on to the bowl!

i'm bidding on a fluval +3 on ebay right now. i'll turn the pressure down on it so it should be all good.

thanks for replying, how do you manage to get oxygen into the water?

keep the biorb pump and buy a airstone ...
