Fluval Filter too strong?

The Fluval filters can only produce bubbles when the top outlet is above water and the adjustable air inlet nozzle is opened. Producing oxygen is very important for a healthy tank and some agitation of the water's surface is also neccessary.

I have that filter. 2 of them running in my tank. My zebra danois and red platy get on fine with the flow. like to swim into the current sometimes ;)

ok thanks, P.S does it really make much of a difference if my filter is now submerged more under water and isn't producing as many bubbles now? It's just that since i've added new fish the extra water from the bags has gone over the air attachment for the filter. Does it matter?
Not to get off topic, but you really shouldn't be adding the water that your fish came in (from your local fish store) to your aquarium.

It's best to net them and then transfer just the fish to the aquarium.
