Fluval Edge 46

I'm thinking of getting the new Fluval Edge 46 nano tank and wondered about heating it. I assume I'll need a 50w heater but was wondering if I can place it in the filter somehow? I don't want it in the tank on display.

Has anyone else done this or have ideas for a solution?
