Fluval 405

I'm a little disappointed with the output of the Eheim Ecco's i brought for my Rio 180 recently. I've been looking at the fluval 405 because of it's 1300lph output, so i would like to know opinion of this filter please.

for that tank I'd recomend the tetratec ex700 or the eheim classic2215
forget fluval, IMHO, they are a waste of money

Eheim pro2 series... best filters I've ever come across. Have a 2026 on my 75G. Blown any fluval filter I've ever seen right out of the water. Heard good things about Rena Filstars too.

Fluval is crap (not including the fx5).

The only external filters I would use are Eheim and the Tetratec range.

Funnily enough, or not quite so funny-I have the Eheim 2126 (?) thermo filter and am on the second head, second hose connector, and now the heater/thermostat has packed up. It constantly seems to suffer from trapped air. I have ordered a tetratec EX700 and am looking forward to jumping up and down on the Eheim! Prior to this I would have nothing but Eheim.
