Fluval 4+ Filter Question

In my tank i am running my old filter from my old tank alongside my new tanks secondhand filter which is a fluval 4+ filter.

There is two long sponges inside and they look red, i have looked on the internet and i have seen some white and black sponges for this filter, please could anyone tell me which sponges are the correct ones to use for the fluval 4+ filter, thanks.

The sponges when new are white, but obviously go darker when used. They also have a black carbon sponge when bought new

Yes, the 2 main sponges are white when new but quite quickly go a reddy/brown colour. There are carbon and fine filter floss optional extra's in addition to the main sponges.
