Hi I am getting one of these filters as part of an aquarium, only had the 2 Tetratec filter I have.
Are they any good, i.e. reliable, easy to set uo maintain, can I chop and change the meida etc ?
Any feedback greatfully appreciated :good:

There's a frame for the foams and three baskets for whatever filter you want. I was really happy with mine but it developed a problem with air getting in and filling the water column with tiny bubbles. It's my own fault for not lubing the o-ring but instead of replacing the o-ring I decided to get a new filter from AllPondSolutions as the January offer was so good.

I still have a 205 which I'm very happy with on another tank. So, in a nutshell, good filters but keep on top of the maintenance.

+1 agree with jamepsss but its only the primestick that knacks up on all of my fluvals and i have around 5

Cheers for the feedback , I'm glad it was positive as I have only used the Tetratec ones that I have, I think I have had the same air bubble issue with one of my filters as there was lots of little bubbles in the water column beeing thrown out of the spraybar...cheers again :good:

I have been running one for over a year and it's been perfect *touches wood very quickly  *

Easy to clean, drip proof taps work well, plenty of room to mess with different medias. Thoroughly recommend. :good:

Cheers, as it's coming with the tank I wasn't sure if they would be any good, just having a look at avaliable media...
Was thinking noodles, then all sponges and a polisher on top ? Not bothered with the carbon...
How do folks configure yours ?
