the light in my tank is fluorescent , will this work well with plants?
 
As long as it is triphosphor (full spectrum).
If it's over a year old then I PERSONALLY would change it to ensure it's intensity is still efficient.

Ah ok. That will be fine to grow basic species like Amazon Swords, Ambulia, hrornwort, Crypts, Hygrophila.

was a panic point bought my plants then fount out mite have the wrong light lol.

ive got loads of differant ones in there.
