Fluffy Fungus? Finrot? Advice Please?

Thank you to everyone who has replied, I have a little update, we have lost 3 2mth old guppies now, but they were endler hybrids I think, so maybe not the strongess of fish? Gorgeous little fella's though.

I expected to get up this morning & find lots of dead fish, so very glad that didnt happen, temp is down & I am keeping a very close eye on them. I really hope that by removing the diseased fish quickly, I avoided infecting my tanks, but I guess only time will tell.

All of the fish in the order yesterday have died I am still waiting for a reply from the manager of the company.

Definitely columnaris - have you got either myxazin or maracyn 1 and 2 yet? Failing that a generic antibiotic is just as good, anything that says it is an antibiotic (as opposed to an antibacterial) - streptomycin/kanamycin/endomycin/erythromycin, tetracycline/oxytetracycline or chloramphenicol are the ones that usually show up for aquarium use.
