:) I've been reading a lot about the flowerhorn fish. I also know of someone who breeds them in my town. I know that you have to have at least a 75 gallon tank for just 1 adult and that they are aggressive. Can anyone tell me their personal keeping of these fish, postive or negative. Any information would be helpful since with hybrids their is never enough information.

ah.......
my beats up everything in the tank!
even fish bigger than him! he will not just beat them up but kill them too!!!
i say u should get a tri mac they look kinda like flowerhorns but there more chill than flowerhorns.
not like crazy agressive but agressive.
my tri macs can live peacefully with other fishes in the tank smaller than them.

not all two Fh are alike.. not all Fh are aggressive.. some strains are more aggressive than others.. basically all FH got their own characteristics.. some are docile while others are glass bangers..

also depends how they are raise, what type of setting.. water warm or cool.. how big the space and how often fed..and even the type of food and the amount will also changes the differences of their aggressiveness.

typically the bigger the room the better for FH.. but if any a 40 gallon tall would be suffice for an adult Fh.

and yes the more info the better when raising a PET
