I am STILL looking at water pumps for my fish room.
The idea is i need a pump which will raise the water at least 2.5m and still have a decent flow rate.
Price is to be cheap, i don't care about efficiency or looks as it'll only be on an hour every couple days.
I have been advised by Swelluk that their cheapest pump which will do the job should give me a flow rate of 1200l/h at the 2.5m.
What should i be looking for in the way of flow?
My plan was to have 32mm waste line running the perimeter of my tanks (downhill, obviously) and then taps off of that to each tank. Will 1200l/h be a dribble at the end or a decent flow?
I want high numbers to speed up water changes, but not to high or it will blow the fish out the water.....and money out my pocket haha
