T Teelie Fish Aficionado Joined May 16, 2004 Messages 4,656 Reaction score 0 Location Southern U.S. Jun 23, 2004 #4 My fish, Gourami, Cory and Bettas like floating plants so I have some fake ones stuck to the ceiling of the tanks and additionally my live plants have lily pads and leaves at the surface further breaking the light up so it's not so direct. It makes the tank look nice too.
