Are there any floating plants that don't grow rapidly?

im also wondering this too lol im thinking getting a floating plant but dont know any

Can I ask why you are against rapid growth? This means they are doing their job and getting nasties out of the water. you could just always routinely scoop out the extra and throw it away, give it away, or turn around and sell it.

Water wisteria is great if any of the above interests you.

Is there a particular species of water wisteria that prefers to grow floating, or will they all do ok?

a slow growing and very hardy plant is ANUBIAS. It is good wedged under some driftwood or something!!

Hope i could help. :)

Limnobium laevigatum is probably the best/most attractive floating plant. It does grow slowly under low light/no CO2. An all round easy care plant.

I don't mind it, because it would be good cover for my BGK :)
Was just wondering if it might be easier or just which is best
