Hi,

I have had pennywort in my tank for about a month now. The planted version is thriving with nice big leaves.

I'm trying to let some grow floating at the top of the aquarium but it has wilted. The roots have turned Brown and leaves are starting to melt.

I have 2 18w bulbs and dose with ferrapol 24 daily. I have a diy co2 setup. No other ferts.
Levels are good with nitrates at between 10 to 20ppm.

Any advice on how I could get this to grow as a floating plant?
Should I let a substantial amount grow in the substrate and then release it to float?

Thanks
Dave

I plant it in the substrate, it grows to the surface then spreads along the top of the water. It grows very quickly. I had some that were over 3 foot long.
