Thet were for action at a betta show put on by the Texas Betta Society (you know, the one Wuv made a thread about.) I had to fight for the greeny

newfishies-- You think he counts as a butterfly? I don't really have a clue what to call him... bicolor, I guess? He looks like a red butterfly with copper overlay . At the show he looked more like black lace with red, but I can definitely see the copper now

well, i'm definitely no expert/judge, but just for that beautiful tail alone, i'd call him a butterfly! he is an amazing combination of colors i don't know what the standards are, but i know what i LIKE!

i think the anal and dorsal fins also need to have the same coloration as the tail, but i am not sure.
