hehe thanks. shadow doesnt do a full out flare, just his fins perk up, not his gills.

Some of these are now in fish pond in sky...Ken, Amos, and the one I had about 2 days the last one, (last 3) just noticed Koi has snuck in twice. He is not so handsome now but he a fighter.

mirrors work too .

i just spent about an hour photographing my bettas and now whenever pacific sees the camera, he flares .

my betta seem to flare better when i put them in the female tank when i use a mirror, its like a lazy flare. when hes in the female tank, he actually flares enough that you can see its gills
