Flame Tetras?

I'm thinking of getting some flame tetras, but I don't know too much about them...other than they look cool. How big do they get and how many should be in a school (for a 29g)?

For that size tank, get yourself 5 or six... They are schooling and very much the same conditions as Black widows (known as Black Tetras in some areas) - middle of the tank and lively.
