Flame Angel

Ox, I wouldn't put a damsel in a 30g. IMO, the tank is too small to accomidate its aggressive behavior. Your stocking level is just fine. Perhaps consider a flasher/fairy wrasse?

I figured the damsel would be too aggressive but thats why I asked, wasn't sure. Ya, I would love a wrasse, i'll check out the local salty shops to see if they have any in stock... I'm trying to find fish that are in stock so I don't have special order them... even though I know it wouldn't be too hard and I shouldnt limit myself to what the lfs' are trying to sell to me.

But anyways, just got an RO/DI filter yesterday that I had ordered and getting water together for the new tank. When water level is full and at a reasonable temp (atleast 76) Im gonna go get some new lr and let it cycle for a week or two in the 30G before I start transfering over the contents of my 10G. Once everything seems to have settled in, then I'll start slowly adding the fish :good: Should the clown be the second to last before the angel? I think i've read they can be a bit on the aggressive side too... am I wrong?

IMO i find that clowns are only agressive when they defend there spawning point other then that very gentle fish, i would add the flame very last.

Ya, I was gonna add it last, but just wanted to know whether the clown should in right before it... but if they are gentle when not breeding then no worries :good:

i had my clown fish in my tank about a month before i added the flame, and now its been almost a month since they have been together and they dont even bother each other at all, i find the clowns tend not to bother anyone but the small chromis when they come around there polyps. my flame is also bigger then the clowns if that makes a difference
