Fiyero Doing Poorly

Thank you all very much. I do wish I'd been able to spare him at least some of what he went through, but I really am glad he's not going through it any more. I'm keeping an obsessively paranoid eye on his remaining sisters and his babies, since I'm very scared this might be genetic, but so far everybody else seems to be doing okay. I really hope this is it for losses for a while; I don't think I could take any more

That's so horrible Andie, but on a good note, I've been thinking about your idea on paying half of shipping on a batch of those fish. She has a lot more than what's on aquabid. Are you coming to NS anytime soon
That's if you don't already have enough, as I do, but I guess you can't ever get enough.

Ooh . . . does she really? Um . . . you have no idea how tempted I am. Does she have pics of them posted somewhere? If she has some coppers who aren't marbles, I would be very tempted. I'm likely to be looking for clean lines to breed into what I have now, depending on what Cathy says when I ask her about Fiyero and Galinda's dropsy (if it's genetic then I'm not going to breed Fiyero's babies, but if it was just these two by accident, then I'd be very tempted to start adding in some fresh to the bloodline, since I'm not too keen on going past F3 with sibling spawns, especially since I'll only have three to choose from anyway).

If she's got a site somewhere or something, I'd love to take a look. As to coming down anytime soon, my grandmother lives in NS and I have relatives in Antigonish as well as a friend at St FX . . . failing all else I'd see what it would cost for one of us to ship extras to the other

OMG, she has the nicest copper crowntail pairs, except they are probably a bit more expensive, but I have pictures I could email to you. I live in Halifax, I don't know that's still a while from Antigonish but I could ship them to you afterwards. I emailed the woman to see how much more it would be to add a few more fish and a bigger box. If you want you can give me your email and I'll send it forward right away
