Fiyero and his ladies

I am getting my two new additions tomorrow and SO can't wait either!
I'll be posting pictures when they are settled so keep an eye out.
They are truly gorgeous...congratualtions....I can't wait to see more pictures.

Just another quick update- I heard from Cathy, and the tail rip and scale imperfections are both new since he was shipped, so I upped the BettaFix a bit and am going to restock on salt this weekend. She pointed out that he's not a juvvie so he was more likely to blow tail anyway, and I assured her that it was his not his current prettiness that interested me, but rather his fabulous genes (copper PK crossed with copper HM- I can't wait to see the babies!)

I've just found out I am getting two females - Clover threw in an extra one (well not throw exactly!!)
So I'm even more excited now!! It really feels like Christmas!! )

Okay, I charged my batteries and now I have a couple more pics. The girls are really hard to photograph properly- only Galinda and Nessarose would really give me anything that looked remotely like them. Fiyero, however, is a terrible ham and when I put his bowl next to the mirror he flared so fiercely I kind of had to catch my breath! )

You can tell my grandmother is weakening when she stops to watch Fiyero flare, and says "My, he actually is very pretty."

Feeding Time cont'd

Galinda is clearly the spoilt one of the bunch She's determined to make this hard on me- none of the other girls mind their pellets now, they just don't like to eat while I'm watching them (such dainty ladies!) Fiyero the pig practically sucks then right in then waits for me to drop him more! Galinda, however, my little prissy missy, leaves hers bobbing for half an hour till I net them out again, apparently trying to guilt me into feeding her something I haven't got the time to maintain. I'm on to you, my girl, and I'm not giving in
