I was searching ebay, thinking about upgrading my VERY bad lighting system, when i came across a very nice looking used compact light. Its very cheap, but the seller mentions that one of the two cooling fans doesn't work.

First, CAN that be fixed? If so, how? Is it even worth fixing?

Thanks :good: I would love to have this lighting.

What model lighting is it? As a general rule any fan can be replaced as long as you can get to it.

If its pc fans, you def easy to replace u get them from any pc shop like dabs.com. :good:

Be careful....make there is not a lot of corrosion.....unless you like to do rewiring, etc. SH

Alright thanks. I've got another question.
I've found a brand new light that's similar to that one and only a little more expensive. It doesn't come with fans, but two can be installed for you for more money. Are the fans needed? Recommended?

Its a power compact 2 X 65 watt light.
