Sorry, I needed the catchy title. I have a female betta and 3 otos in a 5 gallon. Could I add an ADF or two? I'm guessing no but if I find the frogs I'll move the otos although I'd rather not. P.S. I think the 1 inch rule is Bull shiot :p

I don't know anything about those frogs... but I agree somewhat with your view on the 1" rule. Keep in mind though that smaller tanks are less forgiving than larger tanks. Water quality can get bad fast when you're dealing with a small amount of water!

if you have enough filtration I guess you could. in my 5.5 gallon I have 4 filters on it. The football field UGF, a 5-15 whisper, a penguin 125 bio wheel, and a sponge filter for 7 pygmies...why? dunno it never hurts to be over filtered I guess. actually one of those filters is for establishing my 2.5 gallon when i ever get it LOL. next month i will purchase one and i have the plans in action. I will be more than cycled LOL...

I'd say you have room for maybe one froggy. Otos are pooping machines and frogs are kinda messy eaters,so I'd be on top of siphoning and a little extra filtration wouldn't do any harm. :)

Okey dokey I'll look for one when I go to replace my betta, who died of bacterial problems last night  You might think I am quick to replace pets but i need a male betta so I can breed them, This is what I was going to dobefore he died
