Ammonia. It is a much more precise method and produces much stronger colonies so that you can stock fully once the cycle establishes. You should add a little fish food too so that the colony which breaks down organic matter is also established, but i don't think it should be relied upon as a sole source of ammonia unless there is no bottled ammonia available in your area.
