Hi I started my fishless cycle on 28th of Feb, 125 ltr, water conditioner used, temp 24c, fully planted, fluval u4 internal filter, I used Homebase houshold ammonia, after adding 6 ml the reading was between 4 and 8 ppm using a API ammonia test kit, there was no change in the readings after 12 days so I did a approximate 75% water change, the ammonia then reading approx 3 ppm, it's now 7 days later and still no change in ammonia, I've read on here that raising the temperature to 29c will help the bacteria to establish but will the plants be ok at 29c, also am I being impatient.
