Ok...Am a little confused when people talk about fishless cycling.
Am in the third day of my fishless cycle and my water has turned a little cloudy, do I have to water change everyday even though there are no fish in there? Or is it once every week?
Please someone help me!!
 :good:

you don`t water change at all.

not untill the cycle is over when you do a huger 80-90% water change to remove the build up of ntrates

doing a water change will just remove the ammonia from your tank that you need there for the bacteria in your filter to feed on

Ok, well I haven't done a water change yet, so I'll wait. I do a 80 - 90% water change BEFORE I put the fish in, correct?

Thank you so much, a little unsure but getting there now!

indeed you add ammonia to the tank until the nitrItes spike and fall and then you see how long it takes for the ammonia to fall from 5ppm to 0, when that happens in 24 hrs you do the large change before adding fish. within 12 hours or so so as the filter bacteria don`t die off

if you need any help just pm me
