Hello to All,

Little different type of question....

My betta passed away on Thursday; on Friday we were told our water supply had been contaminated with e-coli. I believe this may have been what did the fish in (poor fellow).

So I've emptied the entire tank, cleaned the inside, and want to start a fishless cycle. I believe I need to wait until the e-coli alert in my town has ended before I start this process. I'd definitely have bacteria in the water, but not necessarily the right kind.

Thoughts, please.

Thanks
