Just back form pets at home and the guy said they have swimbladder, so I just added the medicine... I didn't know you have to take white and black media out.

Black and white media I am guessing is Zeolite. This is an ammonia absorber meaning that it eats away the ammonia that keeps your bacteria alive and once used up leaves you with a tank full of poo it cant handle. Of course if you never changed to begin with it may have been used and then cycled and wont be the case. Just curious about if you have replaced it recently.

I heard you should replace it every 6 months... My tank has only been running for about 3 months... maybe less.
I hope this Medicine works... they guy said I just add it once and and see if it works??? but the on the bottle it talks about salt
