Hey,
I do not own a tank yet but have some questions?????
Could many fish be in the same tank. Is it the bio load that limits the amount of fish in a 30 gallon or space because of this list about half are shy or tend to stay near the bottom so would this work in a 30 gallon FOWLR that later would be converted to reef?
Are they safe for a reef?
One Clownfish
One Six Lined Wrasse
Two Fire Fish (One Red One Purple)
Royal Gramma
Yellow Head Jawfish
1 Chromis
Pygmy Yellow Tail Angel
Citrus Clown Goby
Yellow Clown Goby
Pink Spotted Watchman Goby
Thanks

The list of fish looks fairly compatible, though, depending on the clownfish, you could have an aggressive one that takes out your fire darts and chromies.

In a marine tank, bioload is determined by your maintenance. A 30 gallon tank with a refugium and a protein skimmer, but only a few fish will require much less maintenance than a fully-stocked tank. Your bioload determines your maintenance schedule. You could have fifty fish in a 20 gallon tank, if you don't mind doing water changes twice a day. But, find your happy medium. I have 12 fish in two tanks running on one sump. In order to keep my nitrates below 10ppm, I have to do a 20% weekly water change. Some would say I'm feeding too much - eight rosy red minnows daily for the predators, 2 cubes (1 mysis, 1 super brine) frozen for the reef tank, once a day - but it's the proper food load for my fish; they're in a total of 110 gallons of water. I could reduce maintenance by going to a bigger tank, but it's not in the cards right now.

Thanks own tank now check out my build in marine journals.
