Um...think that's the lot! That is over 25+ years in the hobby though, not all at once; actually the goldies were before I started school, so more like 40

Wow, flatter moth, you've kept a lot of fish, I've only been in the hobby for 9 months. Soooo, that why I barely know anything And havnt had that many fish
Oh yeah and what's your favorite fish

Bettas, Platies, Molly, and snail..if that counts.

Have kept Bettas my whole life in various states of comfort and to my shame...discomfort.

My favorite fish in somewhere in Malawi MaD's tanks. but a close second would be Kuhli loaches. Can't wait to have them.

Oh, I don't have a favourite fish; how can you choose between a plec and a hatchetfish? Or a neon tetra and a birchir? Can't be done, IMHO ;)

When I was younger Goldfish.
Also mum and dad had Mollies, Swordfish, Angelfish, SilverShark, Plec, Neons and Glowlight Tetra's.

I now have Guppies.

Goldfish as a child and now have Sterbai corys, Guppies and Cardinal Tetras. The Sterbai's are my fave at the mo!

For you guys that have had a lot of fish types in their time, how do you rotate? Do you sell off one species and replace it with another, sell off a whole tank and start again, keep the old tank and just keep adding more or wait until one group die off naturally and replace them with something new??

I've done all of those, except selling fish off; I've always kept them, although I have had to sell a few complete set ups through house moves/divorce etc.

Now I'm single I can have as many tanks as I like, so I just set up a new tank if I want to keep something different! My next plan is for a nano with either dwarf emerald rasboras or featherfin rainbows, I can't decide between the two

We all started out like that, Fishy friend!

At least you have the internet to research things; when I started I had to rely on library books and the 'man in the shop' for advice
