I am having trouble with fish dieing in my 27g tank. Today I checked my fish in my other tank (daily task) amd 1 of my baloon mollies has red gills!

What could be causing this?

I am having all sorts of problems and I am getting very dis-heartened indeed.

red gills can be a sign of gill flukes

Cheers for the replys. I have tested the water and their doesn't seem to be a problem with the water parameters (ammo 0, nitrite 0 and nitrate 5ppm).

What would be a good cure for gill flukes danio2004.

I used Sterazin made by waterlife. any good lfs should have it. Its not sutiable if you have shrimps and such but there is an alternative called Paragon. if you don't have any crustaceans then sterazin is the best IMHO
