Fish Water Test Again.

Hey guys finally got my fish water more orless perfect just need to get my ammonia down.


Water tests

pH Ammonia Nitrite Nitrate

30/03/11..... 7 4.0 ppm 2.0 ppm 20 ppm

31/03/11..... 7.6 4.0 ppm 2.0 ppm 0 ppm

1/4/2011..... 7.8 4.0 ppm 1.0 ppm 0 ppm

2/4/2011..... 7.6 4.0 ppm 2.0 ppm 5.0 ppm

3/4/2011..... 7 2.0 ppm 2.0 ppm 5.0 ppm

4/4/2011..... 7 2.0 ppm 2.0 ppm 5.0 ppm

12/4/2011..... 7 0.25 ppm 0.25 ppm 0 ppm

Your test results are all over the place?? Can you explain in detail what you have been doing please.

Over stocked on fish. Then I lost a few fish. Added some mopani wood which turned water brown killed my angel fish.

The fish tank has only been set up 4-5 weeks as well i didn't cycle it properly.

But now as you can see water results for today are good and have been going good.

I have done loads more research, water changes, and water tests, added some live plants.

and now have 5 fry other million have been eaten.

you should start seeing a rise in nitrites, i think your suffering from new tank sydrome and i think your tank is starting from the begining again.

I have been really lucky i guess then everything is still at 0 except ammonia which is 0.25. Still.
