I don't think so.
Seems you have many in there the same size and it doesn't look "packed" to me.
That is your 250 right?

yep, that's it.
Thanks you for not telling me they are too big.
I've heard people say that keeping Pacu is cruel.
They are going in an 810 gallon next month.

Thank you :)
No, It's not bowfronted, just the angle I think.
I got the tank and the stand from a place in Tenn. called Twin Oaks.
Pretty reasonable on prices too.

Your tank looks really good to me, no fish too big in there.

They have a Pacu in my LFS, it is absolutely HUGE! Its about 3 foot long and has a very deep body

Lovemyoscar,
If you read my post then you would have seen that these fish are going to be in an 810g tank next month.
I am not an irresponsible fish owner.
And I have the money and space to buy bigger tanks.
I have a 3000sqft fully finished basement that will hold a 2000g tank.
And if they outgrow that which will be years, I'm sure that the Aquarium @ the Indianapolis zoo could accomodate them.
They take donations.
And I do know what their growth rate is, I have had them both for well over a year.

I did read your post.
And I was not being snippy.
And I don't remember asking you for advice when I posted that I had Pacu the first time. You posted back shoving your opinions on me like you are a Pacu expert, Just becuse you read a couple of pages on the internet.
I have had these fish for over a year, sure they grow fast for the 1st 3 months,
Then after that the growing slows dramatically. And this is a fact I learned from experience not from a book.
They haven't grown at all in the last couple of months. And that is not because the are cramped or overstocked.
I understand that there are other people that read these, When I posted that I had them, I was stating. Not advising.
You are entitled to your own opinions, and I respect that.
But you really shouldn't bully people with them.

I agree. Myoscar, your first post did come off sounding an bit rude.

NICE TANK :D

I agrre u were a little 2 hard on him besides his pacus look very happy as long is there going to a bigger tank is alright beatiful fish

I wound't think that tank it's to small for them yet, dont know why he was a bit harsh with you. besides he said he's gonna move them lovely's to a bigger HUGE tank where they will be happy for sure . I've seen a pic of a wild one, they are huge!, obiously though in captivity fishes dont grow as big.
