lol, apparently most tetra have teeth.  they will nip, though.  so that may rule them out.  they eat duckweed too!

I've just had a thought ... if you like that bright blue eye my Palmeri tetra's have that. They can be bossy though. I lost a female yesterday and I think it was down to bullying stress

yes. Nematobrycon Palmeri ... emperors get mixed into the inpaichthys Kerri and the Palmeri. Both known commonly as the emperor but both a different species. The kerri is more peaceful than the Palmeri

Sounds cool, though hate to say it, your tank is not quite long enough for Ghost / Glass Catfish, needs 3 foot tank

 
Also they do prefer softer water and have range of 4.0 - 7.0 pH.
 
And they are not really suitable for new aquariums afaik.

Also, I see they hide from light.  like a ghost.  they will come out under moonlight...muahaha
 

 
Well, there's that and then there's the fact that liveaquaria is a sales site, seriouslyfish is a fish site.  I'd give the nod to seriouslyfish every time over liveaquaria.
