Does anyone know any that won't eat mollie or swordtail fry? I have a tank for them but there are currently no fry in it.

I was trying to find out if there is something I couple put in there that wouldn't need to be removed when the fry come.

An empty tank is kind of boring, plus I'm afraid there won't be enough waste, some of the bacteria will die, and the cycle will have to restart.

-Thanks

Not sure about any fish that won't eat fry if it's available to them. They all do, unless it's cichlids and there own.

I wouldn't worry about having to cycle your tank all over again. The bacteria is growing as fast as the fry are.

I'm hoping you'd put fry into an already established tank tho? :)

After rereading your question, do you mean parents-wise or other fish along with them?

I think I misread your question the first time I replied and I apologize if I did and want to make sure.

You had it correct the first time. I was kind of hoping there would be some kind of omnivore I could just put in there. Oh well, thanks for the reply.

Oh and yea, the tank is established. The previous residents found a new home :( (Ich that was discovered too late)

Oh ok. :)

Even guppies, as nice as they are, will have a buffet with fry.

I'm glad you got it worked out though.
