I’ve done a 25% change just about last week, and the tank has just gotten cloudy a few days after that. There is also a disgusting smell, I wouldn’t say like rotten eggs, more like dust smell if that makes sense? LOL. I used to not be able to smell it, but I just walked into my room and it stinks. Anything I could do?

Welcome to the forum. If the tank is empty then do a 100% water change, and if you have fish in it, then do 60% to 70% every couple of days. You may have to do this a few times until the smell clears up. I have had this happen to me, but I can't say it is the same problem you have, because I use aqua-soil.

Thank you so much! I tried this, but it didn’t help too much. I resorted to changing my filter and it helped solve most of the problem.

dead fish?
yeah actually, one died about a week ago, but i just assumed he was sick by his swimming patterns a week before. i wasnt able to tell though since i’m pretty new to this

dang, i’m sorry. thought maybe if there was still a body in the tank that might’ve caused it.
