Fish suggestions?

I've got a 20 gallon, currently only with one gourami. I have a new home for the gourami, so consider it an empty tank! I'd like to completely redo the tank...any suggestions? Not just on fish but on decorations etc?

For the fish, I like unique fish, I have had fiddler crabs (in the tank ) and I enjoyed them. I'm looking for attractive fish with unique qualities. Puffers have intrigued me, as have blue crayfish and tiger lobsters.

What are your suggestions? I also want the fish to be pretty active, and relatively easy to care for. I want some oddballs with some good personality!

Also, please include pictures if ya can.

there are a lot of unique varieties of Loaches that you could chose from

My vote is for puffers!! You could fit about 6-7 dwarf puffers in that tank. Take a look at my sig and see what I have in my tank. You might, MIGHT, be able to fit 2 GSP or something to that effect, but they are brackish, so that's another thing to consider. Dwarfs are pure FW though.

Anyway, I vote for puffers!
