I recently added to my school of Harlequin Rasbora and moved them into my 55 gallon tank.
When I first purchased them, I was working with limited options and not super excited. Once they settled in though I had a blast watching them. They would run around the tank and poke their noses everywhere, and play like madmen in the water flow. I think they might be one of my favorite fish so far.
I am getting my 55 stocked up now, and will be moving onto my 80 and 90s here soon, which will shuffle my tanks and fish around.
This will leave room in one of my 29 gallon tanks. The only fish I have confirmed for that tank are dwarf chain loaches and oto cats. I am looking for fish that have personality similar to my Harlequin Rasboras, but not too similar in color.
I am looking more for personality than for looks.
For tank Parameters, this is what I am working with.
Standard 29 US Gallon tank
Temperature will be set in the loaches range, so 76° to 82° F
Ph around 7.4
Hardness between 100 and 110 ppm, usually.
