Hi, having recently set up my fish room, it is 20ft x 19ft an it currently seems to be struggling to keep a constant temp within the tanks. I am using quite a few heaters when it's colder, an then not quite as many when warm obviously.

However, I've come across these dual Air conditioner/Heaters that seem to be able to keep the room at a constant temp, which would hopefully mean I can just get rid of the tank heaters completely. My question is, has anyone had any previous with these? Or know if they work?

The current ones I am looking at are;

Or something similar I guess if anyone has any suggestions?

All the devices you linked to are called heat pumpshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heat_pump.  They pump heat out of the room and then dump that heat into the air outside.  When you want to heat the room heat is collected from the outside air and pumped into your room.  They can also heat a room even if the outside air temperature 0C or less.  Air conditioners and refrigerators  are also heat pumps but they can only move heat one way.

The technology does work and it is very efficient.  However you need to make sure you have an appropriately sized unit. A installation company should be able to determine what size of unit you need. if it is too small it won't be able to heat and cool your room adequately.  The unit on amazon .com connects to the outside heat through small hose that attaches to a window.  These portable units work but the connection to a window may cause air leaks and make the unit work harder.  The others appear to be two part units that have one part outside and one inside.  These work better but you have to cut a hole in the wall to connect the gas lines of the two units.  Also in split systems much of the noisy equipment can be outside resulting in a quieter room.

Thanks for the info Steven, very helpful

I'd personally get advice from some reliable repairing services, I guess they would suggest sth suitable. I asked for advice when I was installing my air con, but to tell you the truth, I'm really clumsy when it comes to the household item needing installation, lol. So, I just asked https://www.socool.sg/ and ordered installation servicing. Besides, they provide various services from aircon chemical wash to parts replacement. I appreciated that huys arrived quickly, did their work and what impressed me the most that they didn't leave any dirt. So, great service!

I think the AC is really good for pets, I live near the equator so the room temperature is always about 28-30 degrees so its not optimal to have aquariums at the temperature. I always use subcool as my AC provider and highly recommend them.

I also have a fish room, but I don't really know what kind of air conditioners are there, but they are good, it is really cool inside there, I don't have any problems with my air conditioners. I asked my brother to help me, he knows all types of air conditioners, he is a good specialist, I tried to find somewhere on air conditioners the brand or at least the model, but I really don't understand what's there, you can try to ask an air conditioning installation engineer.
