So we have to do a fish rescue mission on Sunday. We already have a 3ft and a 5ft tank and we only live in a small flat. My Hubby's niece's friend has just split from her hubby and wants to get rid of his tank - he can't take it where he now lives. This is all for free as well, she just wants rid.

We agreed to take the tank, it's 4ft complete with stand, filter, lights etc, but our current tanks are pretty much fully stocked. Hubby has just called me at work to say that if we don't take the fish as well, she is going to flush them all down the loo.... alive!!! There's a couple of plecs as well - imagine calling out the plumber because your loo is blocked and they pull out a couple of dead plecs

Anyway, we can't let her flush them so we are going to rescue them and any that can't go in our tanks will go straight to the LFS. We just don't have the room to set up another tank so will store it until we can move into a bigger house. The only thing is, we are both plec heads but not very good at identifying them. IF they are commons we defo don't have the space to keep them, but we will have to decide on Sunday! If they aren't and don't get too big, we will keep them.... but how we will know!

I'm quite excited, never done a fish rescue before :hyper:
