So I had a little bit of an emergency a few weeks ago where all of my fish were dying. Its been fixed and everything's stable again, thanks to members on Here! :) And I just rehomed 2 of them.

At the moment I'm left with 1 red BN pleco, 3 bronze corys, 3 peppered corys, 1 cherry barb, bunch of baby snails.

Obviously I will have 12 corys because I need 3 more bronze and 3 more peppered corys. And I need 5 more Cherry Barbs.

60 gallon tank.

Ph is 8.0
Gh is 7

Any other recommendations on what to get? Im not a fan of glow fish, neon tetras, guppies, mollies, or Danios. (I've just always struggled with them and don't find them very appealing.)

Sorry to hear about your troubles, glad that's they've been resolved!

It would all depend on your water, if you post your pH and hardness we may be able to recommend more informatively

Your plan sounds good enough.
Why not let these settle in and then you'll have a much better idea as to which areas of the tank are under-used and perhaps what colours might go best, either complimenting with what you have, or contrasting with it.
(Obviously only then considering those fish that'll match your water). ;)

Okay is it a good idea to get the 6 corys and 5 cherry barbs at the same time or shoukd I do different days since im adding in a good amount of fish?

Definitely do it slowly! Add one group, then after a couple of weeks or so add the next....that way you're allowing the BB to catch up with the increased bioload

If I said 'Patience, Grasshopper', would it mean anything to you? :D
Remember that you're trying to create a balanced ecosystem and that the more drastic the changes imposed on it, the more likely something will go wrong. If you read my journal, you'll see that I added fish at weekly intervals....and I now have two fully stocked and functioning little ecosystems. ;)
I'd add the cherry barbs first.

I didn't know how many to add at once lol! I'm definitely going to check your journal out but I was planning on adding the barbs first. :)

5 Cherry barbs this week and your 6 corys next week. Sounds like a plan.
Just be sure to keep on testing the water when you add the fish and if anything does seem to go awry, your first instinct is to do a water change.
(Hopefully, you won't need to).

pH of 8 is way to high for fresh water fish in general. Be careful what you add or try to keep.

When you say in general, what do you mean?
