I’m sorry for all this trouble. I learned my lesson on setting up a new tank. Unfortunately, I came home and my fish has passed away.

Aww man I'm sorry to hear that. No trouble at all, we were all new and all made mistakes. I will guarantee you weren't the first to make this mistake and you most certainly won't be the last. As much as it stinks to have lost your fish, use it as a learning experience and try again once you are ready. If you have any more questions that's what we are here for.

Thank you I have one other adult male betta fish who is healthy. I’m definitely going to try my hardest to make sure he lives for a while.
