What do you guys think of a fish photo of the month?? I think it would be cool.

If it happened why was it stopped?
Is it that it was too open to cheating? I guess there's always going to be a trust thing involved. Like on tank photos I could find a tank and edit in a piece of paper with my username if I really wanted. I suppose meta data (exif) isn't enough.

Already asked about this earlier on, I think the mods are considering reintroducing it, it was stopped before because of cheating I think.

If we were to take a proof photo showing our own tank with the fish in shot as well as the entry photo I think the cheating could be stopped...

Most other sites have a photo of the month competition. I don't see the harm in this forum having one. I agree with the idea of some sort of 'proof' that you have took the photo and its your fish. Perhaps like in the 'ToTM' competition you should enter your photo along with another picture showing the fish with a note or something.

You guys are right, it had fallen off our radar screen with the other things we have going on. It just got bumped back up in the MOD area so maybe something will happen soon.
