Fish larger than average

I have noticed that my otocinclus catfish looks larger than most pictures I see of them on the internet. The same thing goes for one of my ghost shrimp. Is there something wrong with them? Why are they so big?

Ok, i will show you tonight. I will take a picture while they are swimming around.

Perfect and if you can get something else in the shot to give a sense of scale that would really help (but might be tricky as fish are not very good at staying still to have their photos taken)

How long is he? what size range are you seeing on google? . Many fish do have a range. I love catfish! I’ll see if I can do a quick search. I’m curious.

That’s ok. Always some animals, even humans, outside the range. Outliers.
