i've got a angel in my tank had him for over a year now but hes a killer angel what ever
i put in there with him he eats them i got 10 tiger barbs just before xmas 2 weeks later all gone
 the only fish he is happy with are 2 gray and black loch i want 2 get more fish for
it but whats the point if hes gonna eat them every time i do

Any fish that are too big for him too eat should ok as should armoured catfish.

maybe it isn't the angelfish? what're your current water stats?

soz i don't know my water stats but here is a pic of a angel that looks just like him

I don't think he was saying your fish isn't an angel but he was saying that maybe the fish are dying from another cause.

like what

Bad water quality...

How often do you clean the tank? What is the tank size? Did you see the angelfish actually attacking the other fish? When the bodies where scooped out, did they have nipped fins, or other signs of attack?

i do a water change and pump cleen about once a mth not sure on tank size no i don't see him attack them thay allways seem to go missing when i go to bed next day thay be gone.most of the time there are no bodies thay just gone ? but when there are bodies i leave them in there for other fish to eat and no nipped fins or other signs of attack

i'd say once a month isnt enough for a water change, 20% once a week would be better. if they are showing no signs of being nipped or attacked it sounds like a water problem. you should really buy a test kit. could you not measure the tank?

Wow... sorry, but your water quality is probably pretty bad if you've been leaving the bodies to decomp AND doing monthly water changes.

The tank should have a minimum 20% water change, prefebly 30% IMO, and you shouldn't feed the dead fish as you don't know what they've died from, the bacteria may still be in them and allowing your other fish to eat them just let's the disease get spread.

well it cant be that bad if the rest of the fish are still alive. i see no problem with her letting the other fish eat the dead ones. i mean dont you think something would have happened by now to the rest of the fish? and if the small fish go missing, they are obviously getting eaten by something, not dying cause of bad water

they may have become used to the bad water, and when new fish are added they are used to better water conditions which means they die after being added. dont know if im right but just a theory
