Fish Identification

Hey, Basically I haven't set up my tank yet... its a 70l... and we went searching for fish where my girl friend saw a small fish with a black body and red tail. If anyone knows what it might possibly be then could you please tell me and I'll see if i can get some.

Sorry she has just realised its the other way around... a red body and black tail. It was in a LFS at home so no pics..
I thought it was a red tailed shark too.....

I know its a long shot as theirs not much to go on but she's adamant she wants them...

She said that looks kind of like it apart from the eye. The one she saw had all black eyes and is slimmer and longer overall.

Looking at the eyes...was she watching a TV? If so, I would postulate they were cartoon fish .

Other than that, sounds like platies .

could have been a sword tail or a guppy or a killi that just happened to be colored that way.... that would be slimmer than platies

She has contacted the shop and they said it could have been a Red wag platy. I'm going to go back in and have a look when i'm next home.
