Oh thats ok, not necessarily whats going in it is just my final list of fish I would like in there in the end, just a combination of them!
Hello, I know this is an old thread but I've just joined and was wondering how your tank is going as your stocking list at times is very similar to mine with same tank size etc. How much live rock did you go for and have you got your nemos yet ( I love mine, my baby's) I only ask as I have a blue cheek sleeper goby and he is perfect, eats all the time and loves his extra meaty food and pellets so he doesn't get skinny, I also have yellow watchmen goby/shrimp pair and a few others, and I'm picking up my royal gramma on Thursday (gosh she's been hard to find) been in QT at LFS to then be QT at mine, so I wondered if you had any updates, I'm so sorry if this has been put elsewhere

I have had to put the tank on hold due to personal circumstances. Don't have any of the fish yet, was looking forward to my clowns but they will have wait quite a while now!

well it can go in the garage for now. Got to clear out a space tomorrow and hopefully move it sunday. I havent seen it for ages. I will get upset seeing it as reminds me of him! what an idiot I am!

Now I have sort of started to stock my tank, I am back to really thinking about what to have. Instead of people reading the whole thing this was the most up to date lsit of fish
[x]Pair of Clownfish
[x]Regal Tang- up to 1ft size, add near end, can annoy other fish
[x]Yellow Tang - up to 8" size, can be a pain, add near end
Flame angel - up to 4", grazer, offer seaweed, may eat coral OR Coral Beauty - 4" may nip corals
[x]Royal Gramma - 3", territorial, reef safe OR Orchid Dottyback - 3" OR blackcap Basslet - 4" semi-aggresive
[x]Carpenters Flasher Wrasse -3", may jump, pos will eat urchins shellfish and other inverts, peaceful
[x]Mandarin- 4", needs good copepod supply, add 8months in
Watanabe Angel- 6", peaceful
[x]Pink Spotted Watchmsn Goby - 4", easy, semi-aggressive
[x]Yasha Hase Goby - 2 1/2", peaceful (with pistol shrimp)
[x]Square Spot Anthias- 8", peaceful, only keep one
Blue Cheek Goby - 5 1/2", peaceful
Purple Firefish - 3", reef safe, peaceful, only 1
Dispar Anthias - 4", reef safe, better with 1 male and up to 10 females
After research I think with a skimmer all would be possible in my tank however I am running skimmerless atm due to a lack of sump. When the Sump is sorted it will give a lot more water volume and the equipment will be up and running again too.
I have put [x] next to the ones that will definately make the cut in the end! Decided on a RG purely because it will get my family interested more as it is a nemo fish altho I love the dottyback.
Everything else I am now kind of unsure of how much I want them. I want a longnose butterflyfish but I am going to have a lot of coral and dont want to risk him muching on them. I am out the house 7.30-6.30 so regular feeding may not be pssible to stop him.
I am loving the achilles tang and Kole tang atm but not sure about how many tangs a 6 foot tank can take. lol
Also thining about adding a blenny in the mix somewhere.
One thing for sure I DONT want a bangaii or PJ cardinal, or any cardinal.
I am still wanting a group of something but not sure on the dispar anthias. I like them but wondering if I want something more lovely!
With what has happened with my clowns I think I may go for a coral beauty instead of flame angel purely because of the price.
I still need to deicide on a type of goby instead of the blue cheek
I want some interesting fish rather than the normal fish. Apart from the clowns of course haha
