Come on Knox. That isn't much snow. We have several each year that are bigger than that and I live in the middle of the US. We had one about like that less than a week ago. When I lived in Canada, we got real snow. It was several feet each year and stayed pretty much from mid November to March. Now I see a few small storms where we get a few inches each and it never stays until spring. If I lived closer to the eastern great lakes, I would see several single storms that produce well over a foot of snow each year.

have you been to the UK when its snowed about 3 inches? The Whole country comes to a stand still because the salting trucks are sent out 3 weeks too late, and people don't know how to drive properly in snow and icy conditions, no body prepares. We could have prevented all of this chaos this week in the UK if had prepared a day or so before, attach snow chains to your vehicle or reduce tyre pressure and keep a shovel in the boot.

actually this year weve had a very small amount of snow here in manitoba, its quite dissapointing actually

The season is not over yet Mr130. You may yet see some real snow. We get your cold air here when you are done with it so I know it is still cold there. When it gets nasty cold, they call it an Alberta clipper in this neck of the woods. When I lived in Canada, it was in a suburb of Montreal in Quebec. I only started living in flatland (prairies)when I came to the midwest here.

yeah, but usually it would have been more snow already... usually we start getting snow in the middle to end of october, this year we started getting snow on the first day of december. and we only have like max 3 inches of snow so far.

i hope we get a bunch of snow.
