Fish ID ?

Hey, I saw a fish at a lfs 2day, and i forgot to ask what it was

I'll try and describe it, it was like a catfish shape, shiny silver in colour with afew black patches down its back i think, 2 long white whiscars and afew small whiskers, they where pretty active swimming around, about 10 in a tank, any idea what they might be ?

lol, well if u look on the packageing...u will probably find out the lenth! lol

I know its a long shot, but they looked kool

sounds like shark cat fish, these are brakish water fish,

They look quite similar to this acctually, but they where more shiny?

now then they look to me like pictus catfish, not sure if they the peru ones or the columbian variety i forget how many spots each one has and the different sizes one is slightly bigger than the other only an inch or so....

I have an eight inch one of those feelas in one of my tanks. He likes to uproot everything.

LOL, well according to planet catfish, the firse pic i posted get to 112" and the second pic (which i think it is) gets 4.8"

I got the second one. Don't know why he is so big though. The lfs where I got him called him a poka dot catfish...lol...don't think this helps, sorry..
