That is a type of killifish, I'm no expert on killifish so I don't know which species though :).
You should check out the British Killifish Association for which species, or as BigC who is a member on this forum, he knows tonnes about killifish.

I concur with three fingers most def a killifish I have looked at these myself but dont yet have any more room. I believe they do not live too long but can be easy to care for in a weel maintained tank. Let us know how you get on. I wish my parnter was as enthusiastic about my fish.

Heh, we're actaully 50/50 on the tank (though I do the water changes, filter cleaning and general maintenance, in return I force her to feed the bloodworm). Thanks for the general pointer, I'll look through killifish catalogs and see if I can id it.

She reckons it begins with "G" if that's any help to anyone with specific knowledge :)

Well, that was easy :)

Fundulopanchax Gardneri - thanks for the help :)

It looks like a Fundulopanchax Sp

But their are in the Gardneri species about a nother 30-50 different locations all with different colourations!!!!

How ever their are a number of different species so not know killi's well i would not state it being something specific.
